Yuridia McVey of Belmond, an employee of Iowa Specialty Hospital, who is studying Radiology at Mercy School of Radiologic Technology, has been awarded a $3,500 scholarship from the Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF), which is supported by the Iowa Hospital Association (IHA).
Iowa Specialty Hospital – Belmond has been named among the top 53 hospitals in the nation with the quietest rooms, according to Becker’s Healthcare. This announcement was released through Becker’s Infection Control & Clinical Quality publication.
On Friday, Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion hosted Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley. Grassley took a tour of the hospital and spoke with personnel and community members about their concerns.
