Preceptorship

Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics is proud to offer preceptorship opportunities to encourage the further education of those individuals who are interested in careers in the healthcare field. We are committed to providing students with a positive educational experience during their time with us. 
 

Preceptorship with a Physician

Preceptorship programs for medical students are designed to be one-to-one relationships between an experienced Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics provider and a novice.  The unpaid clinical experience provides the preceptee an opportunity to make the transition from student role to provider role in a practice setting.  Requests are accepted based on department availability to accommodate the requisition.
