Notes from Steve
Merry Christmas Week!!! My family is full of nurses (two, but they’re a lot … iykyk), so we do the holiday adjustments based on schedules. I want to give a huge shoutout to any and all who have to adjust their holidays to accommodate work schedules … whether you work at the hospital or your spouse or family works in a position that requires them to be working during holidays. Thank you. You go above and beyond to keep this world running smoothly.
I wrote another article for next week, and I looked at it and thought, “What the heck, Steve, can you be more of a Scrooge?” I did an attitude check-in with myself, and since I wrote that - problems cleared up, the weather warmed up, and I’ve been on a constant music-playing / Christmas caroling marathon. Today, I’m dressed in my Christmas sweater, and my white beard is coming in well … I’m basically Santa Claus. (And yes, I have some weight to lose. “.. bowl of jelly …”)
I hope everyone is able to step back and appreciate what this season has to offer. (Think goodwill and love.) Personally, I’ve been blessed with an amazing group of friends and family. My ISH family makes me burst with pride.
Thank you and Merry Christmas!!!
