I saw this thing on the Clarion Chamber website.  They are celebrating the Clarion zip code - 50525 (5 - May, 05 - the fifth of May, 25 - 2025) - THIS IS BRILLIANT!!  I’m way too excited about this.  I have no idea what to do or what they are going to do … but … I don’t know … nerdy cool.

So, we had another blizzard on Wednesday, March 19th (after suffering the worst blizzard in memory two weeks before), and last week was a freaky wind storm.  And this weekend will be warm again.  Hmm.  I think this is either a. Typical March weather or b. The end of times.  I have a ton of food in my house, but (like everyone else) I felt the need to stock up.  I bought five pounds of hamburger and a beef roast … needing neither, but feeling with a blizzard coming; you never know when you’ll need to make a casserole or a pop-up Sunday dinner for ten, and better safe than sorry.  

I’m in Houston this week for my annual healthcare conference, which I’ve been attending since 1989.  It’s always been in Chicago, but they changed to Houston this year.  I don’t know why, but I’ve never been to Houston, and I’m kind of excited.  I’m expecting everyone to be dressed like a cowboy and big-time accents.  (fingers crossed)
