Amy's Reflections

I spent this past weekend at a horse show in Des Moines. I enjoy watching Maleigha chase her dreams and have new experiences. She had some amazing opportunities to ride some different horses this weekend based on connections she has made at previous shows. It highlighted to me what a small community the horse world is and how supportive they are of each other.

One of my favorite responsibilities is doing initial interviews with providers who are interested in joining our system. I love finding the right matches for our system and those providers who share our beliefs and values. We, too, are a small community, and we take care of each other. I am grateful every day for the opportunity to work with an elite group of people who are focused on taking care of our patients and improving care in Iowa. We are truly blessed!
