Amy's Reflections
Be Inspired.
This week’s theme is to Be Inspired. When I take a step back and really think about what that means to me, it's what fills my bucket and lights a fire in my soul. For me, it is helping others find a solution to a problem or accomplish a goal they set for themselves. These things bring me joy, fill my bucket, and ignite my passion. Maleigha and I have had a lot of conversations about her passion for riding horses. One of the things she loves the most after a performance, is interacting with the parents and little kids. I often remind her that she is inspiring them to chase their dreams, too, just by doing what she loves.
Most everyone who I meet in the healthcare field is here to help others. That is what truly inspires them, and we all make an impact but in different ways. One of the things I love most about working in healthcare is that every day is different, and every year is filled with new issues that allow me to be creative with my problem-solving skills. Thankfully, I am surrounded by equally passionate people who are also making a difference every day with their contributions to healthcare and the patients we serve. This week, my wish for you is to have a moment of clarity where you fully understand how you inspire others in the work you do every day and may the work you do feed your passion.
