Over the past several months, I have needed to utilize the services we offer at Iowa Specialty Hospitals and Clinics. I had back surgery in December with Dr. Nelson and foot surgery with Dr. Hensley in January. I can honestly sum up both experiences as blessed. We are so fortunate to have the best of the best on our teams. I had amazing care and truly appreciated each person and the role they played in my care. 

I was talking to Kerri Pals this past week regarding the struggle of having to be non-weight bearing while recovering from foot surgery. This experience has given us both a new perspective and appreciation for our blessings and for not having to struggle with these limitations other than for this blip of time. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with each of you. I am truly blessed! This week, I challenge you to pause and count your blessings. Fill your heart with gratitude. Spring is on the way!
