Amy's Reflections

The boys are about halfway through their senior year now, and we are starting to dig into the finer details of college programs. I am thankful I have been through this process once with Shaila, although she knew what she wanted to do and where to go. It seems unbelievable that you are trying to decide what you want to do with the rest of your life at eighteen. As many of us know, that path is ever-changing and takes you on an adventure no matter how well-planned you've made it. Those adventures, bumps, and dips make life a journey. I am excited to see where their paths lead.

We must all be adventurers to work in healthcare because our only constant is change. That uncertainty of what will happen next keeps us on our toes and moving forward. I am excited about the future of our health system and the new and innovative ways we will meet those challenges in the best interest of our patients. One of our greatest strengths at ISH is that no idea is too big or too small. As we start to look towards the new year, I challenge each of you to dream big; 2025 will be amazing.
