ISH-Belmond Receives Five Star Rating As A Top Hospital For Quietness

Iowa Specialty Hospital-Belmond recently received a five-star rating as a top hospital in Iowa for quietness by Becker’s Hospital Review.

The hospital was among 12 hospitals in Iowa chosen for this recognition.

313 hospitals were ranked as the best in the nation for their patient experience, according to CMS' Provider Data Catalog. 

CMS' "Patient survey (HCAHPS)-Hospital" database listed hospital ratings based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey. This is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay. The survey was completed between October 2022 and September 2023. The data was last updated July 31. The five-star rating was based on how quiet patients said their rooms were at night.
