Iowa Specialty Hospitals Receive Five-Star Ratings as Top Hospitals in Iowa for Cleanliness

Iowa Specialty Hospital-Belmond and Iowa Specialty Hospital-Clarion recently received five-star ratings as top hospitals in Iowa for cleanliness by Becker’s Hospital Review.

The hospital was among 12 hospitals in Iowa chosen for this recognition.

386 hospitals were ranked as the best in the nation for cleanliness, according to CMS' Provider Data Catalog. 

CMS’ patient survey hospital database listed hospital ratings based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys. HCAHPS is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay. The surveys were completed between Oct. 1, 2023, and Sept. 30, 2024. The data was most recently updated Aug. 6.
