Iowa Specialty Hospitals Board Members Receive IHA 2025 Board Certification

Iowa Specialty Hospital-Belmond and Iowa Specialty Hospital-Clarion Board members were recently honored at the Iowa Hospital Association’s annual Governance Day as recipients of the 2025 IHA Board Certification award. This award, which is achieved by completing a year and a half of education from IHA, is designed to help hospitals use governance best practices, promote care coordination, and use resources best.

Members of the Iowa Specialty Hospital-Belmond Board who received this award include: Anna Buseman, Nancy Gabrielson, Terri Havens, Bradley Robson, and Troy Watne.

Members of the Iowa Specialty Hospital-Clarion Board who received this award include: Sue Martin, Anthony Meinke, Sherri O’Brien, Judith Ritter, and Katie Stecher.

In addition, since 100% of both hospital boards received certification, both Iowa Specialty Hospital-Belmond and Iowa Specialty Hospital-Clarion each received a three-star rating, the highest star rating given for hospitals with certified boards.
