Iowa Specialty Hospital Delivers 400th Baby of the Year
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 400th baby of 2026, Logan Mitchell Dickinson, was born on August 19th at 1:14 in the morning to parents Morgan and Ryan Dickinson. Baby Mitchell weighed 8 pounds 3.3 ounces, was 20 inches in length, and had brown hair. He is joined at home by Brooks, a 4-year old mini Australian shepherd.
Logan's parents shared, "Logan was conceived through IVF. It was about a four year process. He was conceived in December of 2025 while his dad, Ryan, was serving a deployment overseas."
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion campus. “Logan holds a very special place in our ISH family as the 400th baby born at ISH in 2026!” stated Brittney Schafer, OB Leader. “Congratulations to Morgan and Ryan Dickinson on the birth of their son, Logan! In 2025, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 711 babies, which was the most babies ever delivered at the facility in a year.
