Iowa Specialty Hospital-Belmond Receives Five Star Rating as Top Hospital in Iowa for Quietness

Iowa Specialty Hospital-Belmond recently received a five-star rating as a top hospital in Iowa for quietness by Becker’s Hospital Review.

The hospital was among 4 hospitals in Iowa chosen for this recognition.

313 hospitals were ranked as the best in the nation for their patient experience, according to CMS' Provider Data Catalog. 

CMS’ Patient survey (HCAHPS)-Hospital database listed hospital ratings based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems survey. This is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay. The survey was completed between July 2023 and June 2024. The data was last updated April 30. The five-star rating was based on how quiet patients said their rooms were at night.
