Iowa Specialty Hospital-Belmond Receives Five Star Rating as Top Hospital in Iowa for Cleanliness

Iowa Specialty Hospital-Belmond recently received a five-star rating as a top hospital in Iowa for cleanliness by Becker’s Hospital Review.

The hospital was among 13 hospitals in Iowa chosen for this recognition.

350 hospitals were ranked as the best in the nation for cleanliness, according to CMS' Provider Data Catalog. 

CMS’s Patient survey (HCAHPS)-Hospital database listed hospital ratings based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys. This is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay. The surveys were completed between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024. The data was most recently updated January 8, 2025.
