Community Pharmacy Undergoing Facelift

March 17, 2021

The Community Pharmacy at Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion will be undergoing an interior remodel beginning March 29th, 2021. The Remodel will add increased space to the pharmacy work area, lowering of the drive-thru window and improved work flow and front end appearance.  Construction is estimated to take eight to ten weeks and during that time, the Pharmacy will be relocated to The Meadows Independent Living, Apartment #107.

To access this apartment during the remodel, patrons will need to enter thru the door next to the Wildflower Café on the north side of the building (see attached map).  This room is located on the main floor a short distance from the Café and the hospital Boardroom B.  Signage will be in place to help guide patients and guests.  The new temporary space can also be accessed by entering through the ER entrance and proceeding down the hallway past the Wildflower Café and Boardroom B.

During the time of the remodel, the drive-thru will not be accessible or operational.  The temporary Pharmacy location will maintain regular hours, Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

“Our plan during this remodel is to maintain our normal business hours and we certainly apologize for any inconvenience during this time,” stated Pharmacy Leader, Lance Fischer.  “Please feel free to contact any of our staff members with any questions.”
