600th Baby of 2025
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 600th baby of 2025, Amelia Rose Choate, was born on November 6 at 7:19 in the morning to parents Megan Steva and Zachary Choate. Baby Amelia weighed 8 pounds 2.9 ounces, was 21 ½ inches in length, and had brown hair and blue eyes.
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion Campus. “We are beyond thrilled to announce that the 600th baby of the year has been born at Iowa Specialty Hospital!” stated Brittney Schafer, OB Leader. “This remarkable milestone is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our incredible team, and to the trust and support of our wonderful community. In 2024, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 632 babies, which was the most babies ever delivered at the facility in a year.
