500th Baby of 2023

Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 500^th baby of 2023, Ellie Rae Adams, was born on November 2^nd at 4:44 in the afternoon to parents Seirra Brummund and Logan Adams.  Baby Ellie weighed 5 pounds 5 ounces, was 18 inches in length, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

“Labor and delivery are unique for every mother that entrusts us with her journey,” stated Jenn Mewes, OB Leader. “One item that stays the same is how grateful we are for the ability to share in that time.  Thank you to those that have become part of the ISH family.”

In 2022, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 612 babies, which is the most babies ever delivered at the facility.  They are currently well on their way to surpassing that total.
