400th Baby of 2025
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 400th baby of 2025, Josephine Delylah Dow, was born on July 22 at 8:14 in the morning to parents Lyndsay and Richard Dow. Baby Josephine weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces, was 21 inches in length, and had light brown hair and dark blue eyes. She is joined at home by siblings Bennet, Annabelle, Everleigh, Gabriella, Emmelia, and Maxwell.
Baby Josephine’s parents stated, “Not only were we blessed by another miracle joining our family, but we were also blessed by getting the best care by the most friendly staff. Thank you!”
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion Campus. “A beautiful (and busy!) day in Labor and Delivery!” stated Brittney Schafer, OB Leader. “On July 22nd we celebrated a special milestone – welcoming our 400th baby of the year! It’s been one of our busiest days yet, filled with new life, sweet first cries, and proud moments for families and our hardworking team. Thank you for choosing ISH to care for you and your family!”
In 2024, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 632 babies, which was the most babies ever delivered at the facility in a year.
