400th Baby of 2023
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 400th baby of 2023, Keanu Vincent Gentry, was born on September 1st at 8:07 in the morning to parents Amy Ausborn and Michael Gentry. Baby Keanu weighed 6 pounds 14.6 ounces, was 19 inches in length, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion Campus. “Our goal is to provide top-notch quality maternal and newborn care to our patients,” stated Jenn Mewes, OB leader. “We are blessed with the best providers and staff that are dedicated to this wonderful adventure that is called pregnancy and childbirth.”
In 2022, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 612 babies, which is the most babies ever delivered at the facility. They are currently well on their way to surpassing that total.
