200th Baby of 2026

Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 200^th baby of 2026, Selah Marie Altman, was born on April 30^th at 8:03 in the morning to mother Ebonee Altman.  Baby Selah weighed 8 pounds 1.8 ounces, was 20 ½ inches in length, and had black hair and brown eyes. She is joined at home by sibling Halo, 21 months old.

Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion campus. “We’re pleased to announce that we’ve reached 200 deliveries in 2026,” stated Brittney Schafer, OB Leader. “This milestone reflects the team’s ongoing commitment to our patients by providing high-quality service. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this achievement—we look forward to building on this strong start throughout the year.”

In 2025, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 711 babies, which was the most babies ever delivered at the facility in a year.
