Iowa Specialty Hospital Foundation - Clarion Scholarship
Each year, the Iowa Specialty Hospital Foundation - Clarion awards scholarships to seniors in area high schools who are planning to enter higher education for training in the healthcare field. Three $1,000 scholarships are offered to seniors in the school systems of Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, Eagle Grove, and West Hancock.
Interested seniors may complete the application below or they may contact their high school guidance counselor's office or Jordan Weber with Iowa Specialty Hospital at 515-532-9328 for more information. When completing the scholarship application below, please upload your essay as well.
The following are the eligibility requirements for these scholarships. Applicants must:
- Be entering a healthcare career area of study.
- Attain a high school grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
- Be of good character.
- Have participated in high school and/or extracurricular activities.
- Complete a 200 word essay regarding their choice of healthcare study.
Applications must be completed or postmarked by April 27, 2026.
