Maria Heimer - DAISY Nurse Leader Award

From the first time Maria Heimer interviewed me, she was outstanding! So considerate, caring, understanding, professional and made me feel like family in the first 10 minutes that I was in the room. I knew right then and there I wanted to be a part of her team and an Iowa Specialty Hospital employee.  Maria was so knowledgeable with answering all my questions and didn’t make me feel ignorant or uncomfortable. She gives 120% every day in everything that she does. She has ongoing service and dedication for the Garner Clinic and treats everyone the same. Maria goes over the top to make both employees and patients feel terrific in and out of the clinic; there is never any judgement.
