Feeling Much Better

I have had Diabetes for quite a long time and tried many different forms of treatment, but never really followed through with the treatments.  I would say I have been in “Diabetic Denial” because I would check my sugar in the morning which would be high, not check my sugar again or take any insulin or try to take large amounts of insulin to try to catch up.  Also, my occupation as an EMT prevents me from checking my sugars as often as I should.  I was looking for some way that I could manage my diabetes easily and the Dexcom and Omnipod system have been doing that for me.  I can see at any moment what my sugar is from my phone, and then correct it based on what I have been eating or what I have been doing.  It has made my life easier and has made me feel much better.
