Andrea Clemons - Daisy Award

I would like to nominate Andrea Clemons for the Daisy Nurse Leader award. She balances being a mom, wife, and leader at ISH. She is incredibly humble in her work and has assisted and mentored many of us in clinic leadership. Andrea is easy to approach and very generous with sharing her knowledge. She is very focused on quality within the clinic and works really well across departments to help all of the pieces work together smoothly. Andrea has a knack within projects to see the big picture and find ways to think outside the box for outcomes.  She is always eager to lend a helping hand and very willing to serve on new projects.  Andrea's knowledge is wide and vast, and she never keeps it to herself, whether it’s for a new employee, a new provider, or something with the ACO.  If she doesn't know it, she knows where to find it and willing looks for it. She has a positive attitude, an infectious smile, and she is truly a role model.  Andrea gives great patient care too, whether it's an actual nursing service or a managed care resource she is locating, or a new quality measure she is connecting within the EMR, her work drives back to the quality and outcome for our patients. I enjoy working with her, and I know I speak for many others that feel the same, whether they have the privilege to work beside her in leadership or she serves as the captain of their team or project, she's a gem.  She certainly is deserving of a Daisy, and she is one of those individuals that makes ISH brighter!!
