Thank You to Iowa Specialty Hospital - Clarion

(Referring to Iowa Specialty Hospital - Clarion after having orthopedic surgery.)

The nurses brought me a fan in the room. There was a nice comfy recliner for my husband to sleep in, and the nurses were very prompt answering the call lights. They even got me more mint tea when my tea was accidentally thrown out. The nursing staff was very eager to please and, occupational, physical and respiratory therapy were very helpful. Everything was a 15 on a scale of 1-10. My husband thought everything was well planned and well thought out to make the whole experience go very smoothly. He was beyond impressed with that hospital as was I. I have never been in a hospital that seemed to care as much as they do. They follow up and make sure you start physical therapy as ordered.

I also want to give mega points to the orthopedic program director, Alison Angstrom. She is a vital member of the team to make things go smoothly. She oversees the informative classes patients go to before surgery and if there are any questions or concerns, she addresses them.
