Thank You to Everyone During Our OB Visit!

We had incredible staff help through our whole stay, but Kayla Franzen was our favorite. She was so patient with us. She took the time to not only explain things, she even sat and taught us little things like how a brand new, clueless dad can swaddle a baby. She was kind no matter the time of night, during surgery, or while we slept (Thanks for the extra blanket)! It's hard to express in words what exactly Kayla did to ease our concerns and make this new experience so easy but Kayla did it. We will be returning [to Iowa Specialty Hospital] for our next child if God blesses us with that opportunity, and Kayla better be here to care for us! Thank you!

Amy Bahnsen was there to help me through each portion of my labor, delivery, and recovery. She was always extremely eager to help us in any way that she could and we really appreciate how personal and friendly she is. Thanks!

Throughout our stay here, Lynnsay & Gabi treated us so kindly. They were personable and approachable and were more than willing to talk us through everything and were so flexible while still doing their jobs. Thank you!

Dean made my fears of having a cesarean section so much better by talking me through the whole process and keeping me distracted with conversation the entire time. I really appreciate how personable and friendly he was to us. I was very surprised when he even checked in with us the following day to see how I was doing and chatted with our family members. Dean went above and beyond, and I would hope to work with him again if I ever need anesthesia again. Thank Dean!

The staff in Nutrition Services was all incredible during our stay here. All of the food was fantastic (especially those cookies)! And each person who came to our room to do meal planning was so wonderfully friendly. The baby cake was amazing! Thanks again!
