It has been the best summer for me. I love the hot weather and could live in 85 degree weather all year long. One of my favorite things to do in early spring is find a spot in the sun and sit outside and let that warm air hit me. It truly is something that I look forward to every spring.
My husband and I just went on vacation with friends to Florida and enjoyed sitting on the beach for seven days and just
relaxing. We went out for dinner a couple nights, but other than that we just unplugged and truly did nothing.
At our last LDI, Jenn Mewes shared she had been on vacation, and it was her first time in a couple years that she had taken an entire week off and unplugged for a week. She shared that she didn’t realize how unengaged she really was. I felt the same way when I returned this week. I feel so refreshed and ready to take on whatever is thrown at me. Sometimes we really don’t realize how much we need the time away. Whether you are at home for a week or travel some where just please be aware of how much each and every one of us needs and deserves a break.
