As I write this article, we are preparing for Thanksgiving. I look at this time, as a time to look back and focus on all the things that have gone right. A time to be thankful for what I have versus regretting what wasn’t accomplished or didn’t turn out as anticipated.
This next year will be another year chalked full of obstacles and trials, as each year is. However, we have to focus on the things that go right. The things that are accomplished through hard work. If all we focus on is what wasn’t accomplished, or what was lost, it pulls the energy from us making that next obstacle larger than it is.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and had an opportunity to find what they were thankful for over the last year. I challenge you to build on that and each month, week, or day find something to be thankful for, as this will be a boost to take on the next challenge.
So … What are you thankful for?
