By taking the time to stop and appreciate who you are and what you've achieved - and perhaps learned through a few mistakes, stumbles and losses - you actually can enhance everything about you. Self-acknowledgment and appreciation are what give you the insights and awareness to move forward toward higher goals and accomplishments ~ Jack Canfield
Spring is definitely in the air! The sun is shining, the weather is nice, and that puts a smile on our faces. I love this time of year, not just for the beautiful weather but the renewed sense of purpose and that spring in our step (no pun intended) that we just can’t help. This is the time of year when it really feels like all of our hard work has paid off. Whether it be spring cleaning, graduation, or dance recital, there is a sense of accomplishment in the air. I hope you are all feeling accomplished as there are some really amazing things happening in our system. Look for a special surprise this Friday in your departments as we officially welcome in May! I have always found that you control your attitude based on the stories you tell yourself and the assumptions you make. This week I challenge you to create the most amazing, beautiful story you can, because, as the saying goes, if you can dream it, you can achieve it, and there is no limit to what we can accomplish. Okay, I may be a little Pollyanna this week, but I am blown away daily by the teamwork, dedication, and hard work of each of you. Put all of you together working towards the same goal of amazing care for our patients, and it is truly a thing of beauty. What can I say, you inspire me to be better, and for that, I am grateful! Have a wonderful week and go out there and make a difference; accomplish something!
Today's accomplishments were yesterday's impossibilities
