“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river* and he is not the same man.” – Heraclitus
A couple of months ago my wife shared this quote with me. The more I reflect on it, the more I appreciate it. It is full of hope. It reminds me to continually move forward. With the right attitude we can continue to grow no matter our age. To really know and believe this is inspiring. I took a big hit (Jack’s death)about 20 months ago, but now, more than ever (because I take nothing for granted and I appreciate EVERYTHING more) I am inspired to grow in every aspect of my life; physical, emotional, professional and spiritual. I have reflected a lot on my entire past over the last several years. Through that process I discovered the why of both good and bad experiences in my life. I’m thankful for both because they have stimulated growth, not excuses! I feel empowered.
I encourage you to meet yourself where you are at today and EMPOWER yourself to be the best YOU you can be (regardless of history or circumstance).
