Amy's Reflections

September 28, 2020

I spent the last week in quarantine for the second time. The first time was because Shaila had tested positive for COVID and this time was because I tested positive for COVID. I have no idea where I picked it up from, but it has definitely kicked my butt this past week. I just want to thank each and every one of you who are diligent about wearing your masks and doing everything you can to prevent the spread of this virus. It is definitely not fun, and if wearing a mask will prevent giving it to someone else, I am all in support of that. Do your part, mask up and prevent the spread of COVID.

We were asked to participate in the Belmond-Klemme Homecoming Parade this past week to recognize all the hard work of those in healthcare. Thank you to those that rode the float to represent our facilities. It is so nice to see the appreciation from our local communities for the work we do every day. Although there are days that we may be just putting in the hours, there is never a day that goes by where you aren’t making an impact on someone’s life. You are every day heroes, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the healthcare world. Thank you for the difference you make!
