Amy's Reflections

December 9, 2019

Congratulations, it is Monday and if you are reading this you have survived the EPIC upgrade this past weekend. Amber has done a wonderful job of prepping us for the new changes and as we become more comfortable with the new format it will get easier and easier. So, huge shout out to all of the brave souls that worked this past weekend and were our testers of the system.  And to Amber and Josh and their teams who spent so many hours over the weekend making sure we were up and running smoothly so we can take care of our patients. If you have issues this week, remember to be kind. There are 600 of us and 6 of them. So, to Amber Pergande, Josh Morris, Josh Rosenkilde, Jenna Boothby, Sarah Kearney and Phillip Bedel you are ROCK STARS and we are thankful for you!!J

I am super excited that Shaila will be done with her first semester at college this week as she wraps up finals. Hopefully they go well for her and she doesn’t stress too much. I am looking forward to having her home for a month until classes resume. I am going to guess this will be fairly one sided as she barely survived Thanksgiving at home as she missed her roommates and friends. Oh well, I am going to enjoy every minute of it. My wish for all of you this holiday season is to take a deep breath and just enjoy the moments. I know it is a crazy, hectic time for everyone both at home and at work. So, make a point each day either at the beginning or the end of your day to think of three things you are grateful for and really embrace the spirit of this season.
