Gratitude Can Transform...
When you read this Thanksgiving will be over, and my wish is that everyone had a very Blessed Day even though things were much different. I know for our family it was. Even though it was just our immediate family I think I made enough to feed a dozen more. The tradition of ham, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, bread, salad and pies is hard to do for five. So lots of left overs, but thankful that I am able to share these with my family. During this time of so many uncertainties and changes there are still so many things to be Thankful for. I hope that a few minutes of your holiday was spent on reflecting and counting all your blessings. As we continue in this pandemic, uncertain of when it will end, I ask that you take a few minutes each day to give Gratitude. It is easy to say but sometimes hard to accomplish. So I am challenging each of you for the next 30 days to thank a coworker, spend a few extra minutes with a patient, do something nice for a coworker, or write someone a thank you note.
Each time we do one of these small gestures it makes us feel good about ourselves and is a great boost to someone else. We never know how much the smallest gesture can be the boost that a person needs at that time. So as we go into the holiday season let’s give each other Grace and Gratitude so we can have Thanksgivings every day and make it a Blessed Holiday Season for all!! Thank you all for the amazing job that you do every day!
