March Meltdown was a great success!! A huge Thank You to all those who attended, performed, and helped with the event in any way. It was so good to see everyone enjoying their time away from work. We have such amazing talent with in our organization. Congratulations to all, and let’s bring in the warm weather!
I also want to give a huge Thank You to the Administrative Team for the Helmsman Award that I received. It was a total surprise (which is a very hard thing to do). I am honored to receive this and to work with such an amazing team.
The word for this week is NICE. When I first saw this, I immediately thought of the phrase we often hear to describe the people in our great state, IOWA NICE. So, what does that mean? According to google, “Iowa nice is meant to define friendly and helpful attitudes presented by Iowa residents.” You could change this to ISH Nice, and it would have the same meaning. Our organization is known for our culture, and part of that is the ISH NICE.
As we go through these uncertain financial times, it is so important that we continue to keep our ISH NICE - to coworkers, patients, and families. It is because of our culture that we are able to ride the storms of healthcare and come out stronger and better on the other side.
