As April showers bring us May flowers, we think of a new season including warmer weather, green grass, and flowering bushes all starting new from the long cold winter. There are also many new beginnings happening at Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics.
The day this is published our new Wester City Clinic will open, certainly a new beginning. This project has taken a lot of hard work on the part of many, and it is a new beginning for the team. This new space will allow for our ISH Family Practice team and the Gabrielson Clinic team to share a common space and grow their practices. It will also allow for growth in our specialty services area. This is a great new beginning to serve our patients in the Webster City and surrounding area. If you are able, please join us for the open house on Thursday, May 5th from 4 – 6 pm.
The Materials department will make their move to the Distribution Center (former Shopko) for a new beginning. This week the Clarion Materials department will be moving, followed by the Belmond Materials. This expansion is a great opportunity for us to open up space on our main campuses and to be more cost effective with our purchasing and distribution of materials by working out of one central location. No worries, their phone numbers stay the same and they are working very hard ensure you continue to have all the supplies that are needed.
The Belmond Clinic renovation started last week. We listened to our patients and staff about privacy concerns and patient flow. This project will give our patients a more welcome feel with additional privacy during the registration process. This is set to be completed the first week of June.
As we finish up the new Administration area in Clarion, the following departments and staff will be moving; Administration, Human Resources, Rayne Premo, Tom Butler, Micki Disney, Sarah Eisenman and Brook Nerlien. Please watch the Insider for when these moves take place. A couple of other great additions in this area are two more restrooms and a SHIIP office. These rooms are located just past the Wildflower.
As Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics continues to grow, you will see new things happening. Thank you for all that you do because together anything is possible.
