We are excited to share that we are now able to offer e-visits conveniently available to you through your MyChart app. By using e-visits, clinicians can work with patients to resolve health issues without an office visit. A patient can submit a questionnaire and the patient and clinician can communicate about the problem through secure patient messages. Within the MyChart app the patient can select Symptom Specific E-visit as an option under the messaging tab.
The patient will be asked to enter payment information but the payment will not be processed until the provider completes the visit and finishes the note. This will allow for no charge for the provider to triage the visit and determine if it needs to be addressed in person in the clinic. If that is the case, then the patient will not be charged and will be directed to make an appointment in the clinic for care. If a covered benefit under the patient’s insurance, it can be filed with insurance or it can be completed with a personal payment of $30.
Once the payment information is entered, the patient will be directed to the E-visit home page and will complete one of the pre-outlined symptom specific questionnaires. Currently the options for E-visits include:
• Urinary Problems
• Vaginal Discharge
• Sinus Concerns
• Red Eye
Additional topics will be added and available to the patients as the questionnaires are built.
Patients will be lead through a series of questions to provide appropriate information to the provider in order to make a diagnosis and treatment plan.
Once the provider has an opportunity to review the information, they will send the patient a care plan and instructions or request additional information. The process is simple and convenient.
