Please Wear a Mask
We are asking all patients, visitors, and staff to wear a mask or other cloth face covering when coming to any of our locations. Below are resources on how to sew your own mask or make one from household supplies.

Why Wear a Face Mask
When respiratory infections start, an infected person may spread the virus before feeling sick or showing symptoms. Additionally, recent events have shown that some individuals with COVID-19 may be asymptomatic, meaning they are not showing any symptoms of the disease even though they are infected. Therefore we're asking for our patients to partner with us in mask usage. All Iowa Specialty Hospital employees will wear masks while working onsite, and we're asking patients and visitors to wear face masks throughout their time at any of our locations. Together we can provide a safe healthcare experience.
Accepting Face Mask Donations
We are still accepting handmade face masks. Our ultimate goal is to be able to provide a cloth mask to each patient when they visit any of our locations.
If you would like to participate, please follow the link below for the Iowa Department of Public Health guidelines and video tutorials. For questions or drop off instructions, please contact Kim Marker at 515-532-9301.
Thank you in advance for your donations and to all those who have already contributed. We appreciate your ongoing support.
