As society continues to maneuver through these times of COVID-19, we want to remind you of the additional clinic options that we have implemented to meet your needs.
To provide patient’s access to their provider from the convenience of their home, we have launched telehealth. Through virtual appointments, patients can connect with their provider in real-time. Telehealth services are available for family medicine, counseling and therapy, dietitian services, gastroenterology, general surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, orthopedics, pain management, podiatry, psychiatric medication services, weight loss, and ear, nose, and throat.
Acute Respiratory Clinic
An acute respiratory clinic has been established at our Belmond campus. This clinic is for patients who do not pass the current screening requirements and based on their illness or telehealth visit need to have a more comprehensive evaluation. To ensure safety, patients will be directed to a designated area of the facility for their respiratory clinic appointment. Upon arrival, patients will park in the library parking lot north of the hospital. A nurse will come to the patient’s vehicle, provide them with a mask, and then escort them to the testing area within the facility.
Similar to the acute respiratory clinic, a pediatric clinic has been established also at our Belmond campus. This clinic is for pediatric patients who do not pass the current screening requirements and based on their illness or telehealth visit need to have a more comprehensive evaluation. To ensure safety, pediatric patients and their parent will be directed to a designated area of the facility for their appointment. Upon arrival, the parent should park near the Belmond Clinic. A nurse will come to the vehicle, provide masks for the adult and child, and then escort them to the testing area within the facility.
A curbside clinic has been implemented also at our Belmond campus for patients with symptoms of respiratory illness requiring swab testing. Patients should call their provider’s clinic, and they will be assessed over the phone and directed to the most appropriate visit option which may include an appointment for the curbside clinic. During the curbside appointment, the provider will do an evaluation of the patient’s respiratory symptoms. If needed, a prescription can be written and/or testing can be completed. This clinic is for patients with a cough, shortness of breath, sore throat or other respiratory illness symptoms.
A curbside lab has been established at our Clarion campus in the blue lot on the west side of the building. The goal is to minimize social interaction for patient safety. Patients will remain in their vehicles for the blood draw collection. Supplies will also be provided for urine specimens to collect at home and return for evaluation. The curbside lab is not for patients with respiratory illness symptoms.
We'd like to remind you to call 844-474-4321 before coming to any of our locations. This will ensure that you are assessed and scheduled for the most appropriate appointment option to meet your needs.
