The Wright County Charitable Foundation recently contributed funds towards the purchase of a new procedure chair and light for the specialty clinic at Iowa Specialty Hospital – Belmond.
The new procedure chair replaced an outdated chair that was beginning to have issues with the controller. The new chair lowers and rises to an appropriate height for each patient, and additionally provides a tilt function should a patient become light-headed. Both the new chair and light are mobile to allow them to be moved from room to room, making it safe and convenient for staff.
“We’re excited to have this new procedure chair and light which allows us to provide improved care of our patients in the specialty clinic,” shared Nicole Heifner, RN. “We appreciate the Wright County Charitable Foundation’s support for these purchases, and their overall support of our facility.”
The mission of the Wright County Charitable Foundation is to foster and promote private giving, to strengthen volunteer and nonprofit service providers, and to improve the condition and quality of life for the citizens of Wright County on a sustainable basis. Toward this objective, the Foundation will promote endowment building; facilitate community betterment projects and programs; analyze and prioritize community needs; initiate focused and meaningful grant making; encourage collaboration, cooperation, communication and partnership among nonprofit groups; and, support active public, private and volunteer leadership for the benefit of the greater community in Wright County, Iowa.
