Iowa Specialty Hospital is proud to announce the birth of the first baby of 2020. Aiden Tyler Fischer, son of KyLee and Tyler Fischer of Humboldt, was born on January 2, 2020 at 4:43 a.m. Aiden weighed 7 pounds, 11.8 ounces and was 20 ¼ inches long.
Aiden is the first child for the Fischers, and they are truly elated. “He is more than we ever could have imagined,” shared mom KyLee. “Our hearts are so full, and we never imagined we could love someone so much!”
“We’re proud to have been the Fischers’ choice for the delivery of their first child,” said Casey Howell, OB Leader. “We consider it a privilege and a blessing to be a part of such a wonderful time in our patients’ lives.”

Iowa Specialty Hospital continues to grow in the number of babies delivered each year and they are off to another record setting year. In 2019, they delivered a total of 426 babies, which was an increase of 41 babies from the previous year.
