There is no way to describe this past week as anything other than a week in which we took a dramatic turn for the worse. There has been a large increase in positive cases across our area, the state, and the country. We are also continuing to see an increase in severe illness and deaths (which always are delayed by at least a week or two and do not reflect the current increase in cases yet). Wright County lost its second resident to COVID-19 this week.
We already know the measures that help prevent spread of infection, right now it is a matter of each of us making decisions to use them.
