Our 300th baby of 2021, Luca Wayne Miller, was born on July 31st at 6:20pm in the evening to parents Tristan and Alisia Bruns, of Forest City, Iowa. Baby Luca weighed 8 pounds 2.6 ounces and was 21.5 inches in length.
OurMaternity Center is located at its Clarion Campus. “We continue to exceed expectations in our OB department,” stated Jenn Mewes, OB Leader. “For the month of July, we delivered 65 babies, the most of any other month ever! This growth in OB provides amazing opportunities for our community to show how unique we are.”
In 2020, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 508 babies which is the most ever delivered at the facility in one year and is well on its way to surpass that total.
