300th Baby of 2018 Arrives

Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 300th baby of 2018, Ronnie Thomas Boller, was born on October 2nd at 5:45 in the evening to parents Amanda Schwichtenberg and Reece Boller.  Baby Ronnie weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces, was 19 inches in length, and has dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He will join siblings Maya and Gabriel at home.

 Pictured are Reece Boller and Amanda Schwichtenberg with their daughter, Maya, and newborn son, Ronnie, who was the 300th baby born at Iowa Specialty Hospital for 2018.“We had wonderful care,” said mother Amanda.  “We couldn’t have asked for a better experience,” added father Reece.

“Every newborn is special, and I’m glad to help welcome baby Ronnie into the world,” stated Ross Valone, DO, of the Gabrielson Clinic for Women and Amanda’s physician.

Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at the Clarion Campus. “It is always an honor when a family trusts Iowa Specialty Hospital for the birth of their baby,” said Casey Howell, OB Leader.

In 2017, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 353 babies which is the most ever delivered at the facility in one year.
