300th Baby of 2017

November 10, 2017

Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 300th baby of 2017, Franklin Dean Mohr, was born on November 6 at 9:25 in the evening to parents Maggie Breitenkamp and Brandon Mohr.  Baby Franklin weighed 7 pounds 7.7 ounces and was 21 inches in length.
“My sister and I were pregnant at the same time,” said mother Maggie, as she and Brandon welcomed their first child.  “We have the same midwife, and will hopefully deliver our babies in the same week!”

“Every baby delivered at Iowa Specialty Hospital is special, but it’s extra special to deliver the 300th baby of 2017,” stated midwife Jayme Jackson.
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at the Clarion Campus. “It is always an honor when a family trusts Iowa Specialty Hospital for the birth of their baby,” said Casey Howell, OB Leader.

In 2016, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 345 babies which is the most ever delivered at the facility in one year.
