Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 300th baby of 2022, Kamilla Sophia Naranjo Guillen, was born on July 12th at 8:13 in the evening to parents Maria Emma Guillen Vazquez and Roberto Naranjo. Baby Kamilla weighed 6 pounds 2.5 ounces, and was 19 inches in length.
“Family, brother, and sister are excited to meet her,” shared mother Emma.
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion Campus. “Every time that we meet these milestones of births, I am just amazed and thankful,” stated Jenn Mewes, OB leader. “Our OB team continues to strive to provide the very best care to mother and baby. We look forward to what the future has in store for us all.”
In 2021, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 568 babies, which is the most babies ever delivered at the facility. They are currently well on their way to surpassing that total.
