Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 200th baby of 2021, Callie Marie Klein, was born on June 7th at 12:14 in the afternoon to parents Matt and Becca Klein. Baby Callie weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces, was 20 inches in length, and has brown hair and blue eyes. She will join sibling Nora, who is 2 years old.
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion Campus. “Our OB department continues to grow in 2021,” stated Jenn Mewes, OB Leader. “Currently we are in construction mode adding more rooms to the department to continue providing amazing personalized care to our patients. We continue looking forward on how to best serve our community.”
In 2020, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 508 babies which is the most ever delivered at the facility in one year and is well on its way to surpass that total.
