Iowa Specialty Hospital and Novo Nordisk are teaming together for Navigating Diabetes Myths. This free event will be held on Thursday, September 28th starting at 6:30 pm in the lower level of the Clarion Public Library located at 302 N Main Street.
Certified Diabetes Educators, Stacey Cayler and Leah Keller, will help you navigate the facts and myths of diabetes so you can avoid pitfalls and lead a healthy, happy life.
“People wonder if eating too much sugar causes diabetes, or if insulin is the last therapy available for treatment,” states Cayler, Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics Diabetes Educator. “We’ll discuss these along with other questions to debunk the myths and get to the truth about diabetes.”
The class is free and open to the public. For questions, contact Cayler at 515-532-9318. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about managing your diabetes.
