The Night Clinical Leader is a RN who oversees the overall staffing and patient care of the overnight shifts at Belmond and Clarion campuses. They will be a mentor/ resource for the nursing team and new hires. The Night Clinical Leader provides leadership, coordination and management of personnel, and assumes responsibility for hospital administrative functions when management/administration is not in-house. They make efficient use of nursing resources, working collaboratively with both campuses.
This individual is visible and available to both campuses. They evaluate current and potential staffing concerns, follow administrative/departmental policy and procedures for all personnel and acts as an administrative liaison, clinical resource, and role model for staff. This nurse will work 4-10 hour shifts from 10pm-8am during the week and take call one weekend a month along with rotating Holiday call.
RN with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience (Acute Care, ER and/ or OB) and previous leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills and effective verbal and written skills and previous EPIC experience. BSN preferred, but not required. BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP and AVADE certifications within 12 months of hire.
